A native of Raleigh, Dr. Earp graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1986 and earned his dental degree in
1991 from the UNC School of Dentistry. He received the honorable Bob Tormey Memorial Award, given to the graduating student who best
exemplified the character of the late Bob Tormey in sociability, humor and caring for the needs of others. He comes from a family of
dentists dating back to the late 1940's in the Raleigh area.
Dr. Earp has dedicated himself to the practice of dentistry in order to help people in our community achieve their dental aspirations
in cosmetic and family dentistry.
Included in his practice are the most innovative technology and advanced equipment available. Advanced computer charting,
digital radiographs, Zeiss endodontic technology and one-visit CEREC crown systems are the beginning of his efforts to provide optimal,
efficient dental care. Although this technology is imperative for the general dentist, Dr. Earp also remembers the most simplistic approach
to the dental needs of our community.
Dr. Earp is a member of the North Carolina Dental Society and the Southern Academy of Oral Surgery. He is CEREC dentistry certified
and a consultant for this technology with Patterson Dental. Additionally, he holds a fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
A past BSF leader in the children and adult ministries, Dr. Earp is currently a Bible study leader in the Men's Study at Edenton Street
United Methodist Church. He was a longstanding member of Providence Baptist Church and now serves as a deacon at the sister church,
Capital Community Church of Raleigh. Dr. Earp and his staff serve the Tammy Lynn Center of Raleigh. He is also a volunteer with the
Baptist Men's Mobile Dental Clinic and has served in dental missions abroad. His wife, Stephanie and two children, Collins and Catherine
enjoy time together at the North Carolina coast whenever possible.
